Employee Engagement: The Impact of Key Drivers of Engagement

According to a 2017 Gallup poll of global organizations, 87 percent of workers worldwide and 70 percent of employees in the United States are either not engaged or actively disengaged. In other words, only 30 percent of U.S. workers are actually driving their organizations forward. Further, U.S. companies incur costs of over $500 billion due to low employee engagement. Companies with high employee engagement have lower attrition, lower absenteeism, and greater productivity, among the many benefits.

Service Council wanted to understand how this translates to our members' organizations. What is the aggregated level of engagement within our member community? And will Service Council's findings in this area stimulate any desire for further exploration for certain members?
